Mad Mud Run Phoenix: Saturday, November 22, 2008; MacDonalds Ranch, Scottsdale, AZ

Early Packet Pick-Up Friday, November 21st: 5:00-7:30pm, REI Paradise Valley. In order to speed up the check-in process, be sure to print & sign your waiver before checking-in.

Costume contest will be judged at 7:50 with a brief parade past the Start/Finish Line. Be early and be ready!

Pre-race briefing at 7:45 which is a must for all.

Course is roads, horse trails and a wash for a total of exactly 4 miles.

We'd previously announced that the start/finish would take place in the "Old West Town" at MacDonalds Ranch, however, we'ved moved it and the sponsor booths to the area closest to the mud pit. Same goes for the MudPuppy Splash and the SOAK ZONE!

COME EARLY, COME EARLY, COME EARLY! With more than a thousand people, we need you there asap. Race will go off in waves between 8am and 8:30am.

Volunteers Still Needed!
Volunteers are needed the day before the event, as well as during the event. Please email us if you can help out. Duties may include: Mud Pit construction, racer check-in, obstacle judges, event tear-down, food & drink, etc. If you are an EMT, Medic, Doctor or Nurse, we'd love to have you as volunteer emergency staff too.

SQUIRT GUNS & WATER CANNONS NEEDED! Big kids and little kids needed in the Splash Zone to douse Mad Mud Runners out of the gate...bring your own or we'll provide a loaner!

Mad Mud Run Phoenix is four miles of action-packed excitement as you travel up, over, around, and through...well, somewhere really cool - MacDonald's Ranch in the tranquil Sonoran Desert of north Scottsdale.

Grab a grab a friend or two, or fly solo! Runners will travel on a marked course passing through multiple obstacles along the way, including our very cool mud pit...you haven't seen one like this before. Obstacles will resemble those which you'd find at a boot camp training course and are doable by the vast majority of people. YOU CAN DO IT!

Maximum time limit of 2 hours 45 minutes.

Awards will be presented to the top finishers in the 1, 2 & 5 person divisions.

Get in on the mud-fun with our friends from racelab . They've designed a really cool obstacle course just for you…and you can try your speed through the mud pit, too! Approximately 100-meters of crazy, sloppy fun!

The Mudpuppy Splash is open to the first 200 kids ages 4-12*, so register today!

$10 per child and includes a t-shirt, race bib and cool dog tag. A portion of the registration fees will benefit the Arizona Children's Burn Camp.

* Children ages 4-6 must have a parent go through the mud pit with them.
